Annie+Alex's Terms and Conditions
Kindly read through the following terms prior to making your purchase. Through purchasing our merchandises and services would mean that you have acknowledged the following terms, have understood them, and have agreed to abide and adhere to them.
These general terms and conditions (the “General Conditions”) apply when you (“Customer” or “you”) place an order from Annie+Alex (“Company”, “us” or “we”) on www.anniealex.com, (the “Website”).
We sell products to multiple jurisdictions and these General Conditions are set out to be global. Still, depending on the jurisdiction in which you live, mandatory law may also apply. We respect such applicable laws and nothing in these General Conditions shall be seen as a limitation of your mandatory statutory rights, if such laws provide greater rights for you than set out here.
By accepting these General Conditions, you understand and accept that any order, purchase or transaction is made exclusively between the Company and the Customer, and that WIX — as a platform provider - is not responsible for any content, interactions or transactions made on www.anniealex.com.
When you receive an order confirmation from us your purchase order is accepted and a purchase agreement is entered into. We encourage you to save the order confirmation for any future contacts with us. We may deny a purchase order for various reasons, for example if you provide incorrect personal data and/or have a record for non-payment of debt.
We are unable to make any amendments after your order have been confirmed.
Please check that your address is correct to avoid lost/delayed orders. We are not liable for delays arising from such orders.
All orders are sent through mail only. Meet ups are duly declined.
We may cancel an order if the products ordered are sold out. We will then refund any amount paid and notify you about equivalent products if such are available.
All products ordered remain our property until we have received full payment for them.
Prices and shipping rates are subjected to change without notice but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Please note that operating days are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
You are responsible for that the personal data that you provide us with is correct and complete.
You are responsible for all purchases made with your login details. So make sure that you keep the login details secret and that no unauthorized persons have access to them. Let us know if you suspect that an unauthorized person have obtained access to your login details.
The prices indicated on the Website apply to orders placed on the Website. All prices are in the currency stated on the Website. If nothing else is stated on the Website the prices do not include payment- or shipping fees and these are given separately. Please note also that local charges (such as currency conversion fees, credit or bank card fees, sales tax, customs duty etc.) may apply depending on where you live and local regulations. Such charges are at your expense and will not be refunded by us.
Shipping and delivery
We are unable to amend orders, which are separately made after it is placed. Please double check your order details before confirming the order.
All orders are dispatched after lead time of 3-5 working days upon receipt of order. Delivery is carried out during working hours, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and local public holidays.
In case of delay in delivery by us, we will inform you and continue to monitor the order. You may cancel the order if a delivery is delayed for more than 30 days and the delay is not due to you.
Once the Dispatch Confirmation has been emailed to you, your products are under the responsibility of our third party postal service providers and we shall not be responsible for lost parcel in post if proof of postage is supplied. Any claim will have to be made with our postal service providers and we will make reasonable effort to assist in compensation claims (if any). Refunds will not be made in such an event.
Tracking number is emailed to you for all registered mails. Status can be checked at www.singpost.com.
Registered mail requires a person to sign for the package. If no one could receive your order during delivery, a notice of collection or redelivery will be left for you. It is the customer's responsibility to use the tracking number provided to trace their order. We are not responsible for updating each customer on their order's whereabouts.
Unclaimed or undeliverable packages that are mailed back to us are subject to re-shipping costs borne by the customer.
We will email you with instructions to make payment for your order’s shipping fee again. A photo of the unclaimed/undeliverable package can be sent if requested.
If you would like to cancel an order that has been returned to us, there is a 10% restocking fee.
We will send up to two reminders for re-shipping, and after 6 months, we reserve the right to take back the unclaimed/undeliverable orders without issuing a refund.
For all international orders, once your order arrives in your country, your national postal service will take over the handling of delivery to you. Please check with them if you think you may have missed the delivery. We label your contact number on the front of your package, therefore the post office should be able to contact you easily if there is any problem. Any customs or import duties charged once the parcel reaches its destination country (if any) must be paid for by the recipient of the parcel.
Price of postage includes handling fees.
We will not be able to apply discount codes after the order is placed.
Discounts are only valid if the voucher codes are entered upon checkout.
All discount codes that are used cannot be reinstated if orders are cancelled.
All our images are copyrighted. Please do not use any of our images without our permission.
Colors of products may differ due to color calibration of individual's computer and it might appear darker in reality due to strong lighting used.
Measurements provided on each of the products are in flatlay.
Please allow 20% discrepancy in the product color due to lighting. In such cases, the variance may not be considered as a defect.
Please note that products contain small beads and may be a choking hazard for children.
Products sought from supplier(s) have been certified by SGS – FDA, Germany LFGB Certification (food grade testing) and RoHS compliant.
You are advised to wash our products with baby bottle soap and water. Please ensure that product is air dried in an open space. Do not soak in hot water and do not sterilise wooden products.
Application of Annie+Alex Artisan Wood Butter is encouraged to preserve the lifespan of our products.
Limitation of Liability
Where applicable mandatory law does not provide otherwise, our liability is limited to direct damages and under no circumstances are we liable for indirect damages such as loss of earnings etc.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Website and all its content is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property and marketing legislation. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information on products, services and other content may not be copied or used without our prior written consent.
We reserve ourselves for any image or typographical errors on the Website, such as errors in product descriptions, technical specifications, inaccurate prices or incorrect information with regards to whether a product is in stock. We are entitled to rectify any obvious errors and, at any time, to change or update the information on the Website accordingly.
The images on the Website are for illustration purposes only and do not guarantee to reproduce the exact number of products that you would receive at an order, nor the exact appearance, function or origin of the products.
Changes to the General Conditions
We may change these General Conditions at any time. We will then set forth the changed General Conditions on the Website and they will enter into force once you have accepted them (in connection with a new order through the Website or while browsing the Website).
Governing law and disputes
In the event of a dispute, we strive to comply with any decision by the relevant national consumer protection authorities.
Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these General Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country or state where we conduct our business and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the court at the place of our incorporation. “Non-exclusive jurisdiction” means that you may bring a claim against us in another jurisdiction if provided by applicable mandatory law.
Annie+Alex reserves the right to make amendments to any of the above Terms & Conditions.
In the event of any dispute, Annie+Alex reserves the right of final decision.
